Burnside Eurocyl is an independently owned company within the Burnside family of companies, which was founded in 1974 & is one of the largest suppliers of hydraulic cylinders in Europe. We specialise in the design, manufacture & sale of customised hydraulic cylinders for OEMs in the earthmoving & construction equipment, quick attachments, screening equipment & personnel lift market.

The company workforce has grown to a current total of 200 people all of whom are highly skilled in the design & production of cylinders & related services. More than 95% of the company’s output is exported, with its main markets being in Europe, USA & Canada.

We have a proven track record of delivering high quality cylinders to our customers on a JIT basis. This enables our customers to reduce their inventory and operate their own assembly facilities in a lean format. The cellular format of our manufacturing operation means that we can manufacture a wide variety of cylinders in varying batch sizes whilst maintaining quality and on-time delivery throughout. Our customers are predominantly market leaders in their sector.

Our cylinders are competitively priced and this is illustrated by our long term relationships with key customers and our increasing market share.
